We are seeking an Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our on-premises infrastructure team. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation of our on-premises IT services within an Agile environment. You will support network services, assist in implementing new technologies, optimize infrastructure components, define requirements, and implement security measures.

• Platform Design and Implementation: Assist with the design, implementation, and management of on-premises platform infrastructure, including SAN, VMWare, and Server & Cluster Operating Systems. Participate in planning and executing upgrades and expansions.
• Platform Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, resolve complex problems, perform maintenance and updates, and lead disaster recovery planning.
• Security Management: Implement and manage security measures such as firewalls and antivirus systems, ensuring compliance with policies.

Skills and experience required:

• Platform Protocols: Knowledge of SAN, Fibre Channel, TCP/IP, Ethernet.
• Platform Security: Knowledge of on-premises operations and security.
• Infrastructure Technologies: Understanding of Azure, Virtualisation, Operating Systems, and resilient technologies.
