About the Role
An excellent secondary school in Harborne is seeking a qualified Teacher of Maths to join their Mathematics department from September 2025. This is a full-time position for at least one full term, with strong potential to become a permanent role from January 2025.

You will be responsible for teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4, with full planning, marking, and assessment responsibilities. The department is well-established and supportive, making this a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Mark and assess in line with departmental and school policies
• Support pupil progress and promote engagement in Maths
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and department

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
• Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools is essential
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passionate about delivering engaging and effective Maths education
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
