Working in a modern facility which has benefited from recent significant investment, you'll be part of a small, dedicated Quality Team supporting the Quality Manager, assisting in the daily running of the QA Department.

As a Quality Engineer, Your Duties Will Include

  • Resolving quality queries at all levels.
  • Conducting Root Cause analysis investigations to determine fault allocations & responsibilities.
  • Maintaining and managing equipment calibration records and activities.
  • Carrying out Goods Inwards checks on goods requiring QA attention.
  • Identifying ineffective routines and work with management to implement improvements.
  • Visual/Dimensional Approval of New/Modified Products using CMM equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate quality documents and records.

To be successful in the role of Quality Engineer, the ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a strong understanding of Quality Tools & techniques.
  • Have worked in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Be able to read & understand engineering drawings.
  • Be able to use a wide range of measuring equipment, including CMM.
  • Be competent in the use of MS Office and quality related software systems, with excellent technical report writing skills.
