As a Platform Engineer, you will drive the analysis and development of strategies to upgrade technologies, reducing obsolescence and enhancing operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include executing assessments, developing remediation solutions, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing technical leadership. Your contributions will ensure optimal strategies aligned with architectural direction, minimizing risks and maximizing performance.

What you'll need

1. Expert knowledge of Operating Systems, Servers and Storage
2. Skillfulness in Scripting and Automation tools like Python, PowerShell, and Ansible.
3. Proficiency in Database Technology Products OR Web Application Server Products (Oracle, MS SQL) OR (BM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle WebLogic)

Nice to haves

1. Docker and Kubernetes
2. AWS Certification
3. Understanding of Dev-Op Tools

My client can offer a flexible hybrid working pattern with 1/2 days a week on-site in their brand-new state-of-the-art offices in Milton Keynes. My client can also offer a competitive salary of £95,000 - £110,000.
