The core mission of the Federal Marketing Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing marketing team within a global organization and be our first marketing hire dedicated to the Public Sector in the US and Europe. The first 6 months will focus on establishing a regional demand strategy and optimizing the program in subsequent phases. Your focus will include:
- Collaborating closely with the Fed/SLED Sales Team to develop marketing programs and integrated demand generation campaigns aligned with their goals.
- Influencing lead generation and revenue goals from Public Sector and University-focused partners.
- Working with the Fed/SLED Channel Director to align priorities and goals.
- Owning Field Marketing events tied to the Fed/SLED team.
- Acting as a conduit between the broader marketing team and the Fed/SLED team, reporting to the SVP of Federal/SLED.
- Managing logistics and execution of field marketing events in the US and Europe.
The fellowship you’ll be joining:
You will report to the Head of Enterprise Growth Marketing and the SVP of Federal/SLED, joining a team of over 25 marketers and the wider revenue organization. You will work with various departments to design and execute holistic lead generation campaigns.

- Own the Fed/SLED marketing strategy from ideation to execution.
- Create and manage regional Fed/SLED campaigns and events with clear objectives and metrics.
- Communicate campaign performance to stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams to incorporate Fed/SLED campaigns into broader marketing initiatives.
- Build relationships with global and regional stakeholders to develop demand creation plans.
- Support initiatives like 8140, ANAB, ENISA accreditations.
Skills, knowledge, and experience required:
- 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in the US Public Sector and cybersecurity.
- Experience in field marketing.
- Ability to balance analytical and creative thinking under tight deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with marketing tools like HubSpot.
- Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to execution.
- Strong collaboration skills, especially with sales teams.
