Power Platform Developer - Newcastle - £55,000
We're supporting a global organisation in their search for a Power Platform Developer to join a dynamic team and play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and AI Builder.
Main Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power Platform solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with users to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices, security, and governance standards are upheld throughout the application lifecycle.
- Contribute to governance frameworks and Power Platform standards aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
- Provide training and documentation to support users and teams.
- Share knowledge and foster a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Power Apps Developer, with both Canvas and Model Driven apps.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Azure Logic Apps, Power Pages, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong foundation in software development and business analysis.
- Experience designing and implementing efficient workflows using Power Automate.
- Skilled in delivering AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents).
- Proficient in integrating Power Platform components.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL.
- Experience configuring custom connector APIs.
- Knowledge of HTML, Python, C#, and JavaScript for advanced functionality.
- Comfortable working independently and in Agile development environments.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-200, PL-400) or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with other modern development and Power Platform licensing is a plus.
