Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced and proactive Finishing Foreman to join a new build housing project in Bridgend. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes in residential construction.
- Oversee and coordinate all internal finishing works on site, including plastering, painting, joinery, flooring, and snagging.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship are maintained throughout the final stages of the build.
- Work closely with site management, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress and timely completion.
- Conduct and manage snagging and de-snagging works to ensure properties are delivered to a high standard.
- Support the project manager in maintaining health & safety, quality, and programme targets.
- Act as a point of contact for resolving on-site finishing issues swiftly and efficiently.
- Proven experience in a finishing foreman or similar role within the housebuilding sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of all finishing trades.
- Ability to read drawings and work to programme deadlines.
- CSCS card.
- SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred).
- First Aid certification (desirable).
- Proactive, practical approach with strong leadership skills.
- Willingness to be hands-on where needed to get the job done.
