Role Overview

We’re looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our team at Kido location in South West London. We are international, operating in India, USA and the UK. All our nurseries are Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding and are based in London and Windsor. We’re still growing with 1-2 new nurseries opening each year! At Kido, we blend the best practices from the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches and have a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead as an ambassador for Kido values and culture

• Align team with company policies, leading from the front
• Uphold highest standards of child welfare and safety, handling protection concerns
• Support staffing schedules, holiday rotas and staff level requirements
• Handle administrative procedures, registrations and place allocations
• Assess and record child progress, implementing effective observation systems
• Develop personal growth, supported by Learning and Development team
• Promote a nurturing environment for children’s individual needs and diversity

Qualifications

• Relevant childcare qualification, level 3 minimum
• Experience as Room Leader, Third in Charge or current Deputy Manager in a nursery setting
