A public sector organization in Great Dunmow is seeking a Business Service Assistant to provide exceptional customer service and support to police officers. The ideal candidate will have strong team working skills, customer service experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This full-time position offers enrolment in the Local Government Pension Scheme and 23 days of annual leave, among other benefits.

Based at Great Dunmow Police Station, permanent vacancies are available across the core hours of 0800 - 1700 Monday to Friday however, there is a requirement to work some evening and weekends on occasions. The Business Centre is a large busy department providing a wide range of shared support services to Police Officers, PCSO's, Special Constabulary and other support staff within both the Essex Police and Kent Police forces.
Successful candidates will join our existing teams managing challenging demands and deadlines responsible for responding to high levels of telephone and email enquiries. Successful candidates will be providing advice and guidance, processing actions to meet Service Level Agreements to update and administer electronic records and providing a wide range of finance, human resources and other transactional support functions in order to deliver an effective and efficient service to operational policing and a range of other support teams.
