About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Procurement Business Partner to lead procurement activity within the People category, supporting services such as Adult Social Care, Children's Services, Public Health. This is a pivotal role within our Corporate Procurement Team, driving value for money, compliance, and social value across high-impact contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the lead advisor for procurement within the People category, developing and implementing category strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across People services to understand needs and deliver effective procurement solutions.

Lead a category team in delivering end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring compliance with public sector regulations and internal governance.

Deliver value for money, embedding social value and sustainability into procurement outcomes.

Manage and mentor junior procurement staff, fostering professional development and high performance.

Contribute to the development of procurement policies and strategies, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

About You
