We’re recruiting a versatile, resilient and nurturing professional to join one of our specialist partner provisions near Bere Alston, supporting children and young people aged 7–19 with Autism (ASD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including trauma and attachment‑related difficulties.
- Work alongside teachers to adapt and deliver engaging learning across the curriculum.
- Lead small group and one‑to‑one interventions to boost academic progress and emotional well‑being.
- Support students to regulate emotions, engage positively, and build confidence.
- Act as a consistent, emotionally available adult for pupils with additional needs.
- Plan, deliver and evaluate interventions that promote progress.
- Support and mentor other teaching assistants, sharing good practice and expertise.

- Knowledge of behaviour‑management and emotional‑regulation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong, trusting relationships.
