Location: HMP Hull, Hedon Rd, Hull HU9 5LS
Pay Rate: £50 per hour
Contract: ASAP – Ongoing | Inside IR35
Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time options available

We are excited to offer an ongoing locum opportunity for an experienced Advanced Care Practitioner (ACP) or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) at HMP Hull, East Yorkshire. With a competitive pay rate of £50 per hour, this role allows you to work flexibly while making a meaningful impact within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cover a busy reception service, working 5pm to 9pm if DART trained.
  • Assess, treat, and manage minor injuries and illnesses in a primary care setting.
  • Rewrite and manage detainee medication prescriptions.
  • Process and file blood results accurately and promptly.
  • Respond to and attend emergency calls, providing immediate care when needed.
  • Participate in complex case meetings and handovers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (for ACP) or equivalent experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience in primary care or relevant clinical settings.
  • Valid Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training and competencies.
  • Prison clearance required.
