A leading regeneration contractor in Chesterfield is seeking a freelance Site Supervisor for a 3-year contract. The role requires overseeing maintenance tasks in social housing, managing trades, and ensuring project standards. Experience in the social housing sector and relevant certifications are essential. Own transport is necessary, and standard working hours are 40-45 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Supervise trades for repairs/maintenance.

Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Regeneration and retrofit contractor in Matlock and Chesterfield to hire a freelance Site Supervisor to assist on a reactive maintenance and repairs scheme on behalf of the council in tenanted and void properties. The duration of the contract is for 3 years work.
The successful Supervisor will preferably come from a background within the social housing sector and worked on similar schemes previously.
- Supervising trades such as Joiners, Bricklayers, Plumbers, Plasterers to carry out repairs/maintenance in tenanted and void properties.
- Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed within set deadlines.
- Reporting progress to the Site Manager and senior management.
- Ensuring work is completed to the agreed high standards.
- Coordinating teams of workers and subcontractors
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
- Ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are being adhered too

- Previous experience in the Social Housing Sector as a Manager/Supervisor
- Own transport
- Monday - Friday working week, 40 - 45 Hours per Week
- Long Term Contract - 3 years work
