A leading engineering consultancy seeks a Design Manager Buildings to join the Maritime & Defence team. This role involves managing the design of major industrial projects and stakeholders, contributing to technical progression, and offering a strong benefits package, including health insurance and annual leave.

- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering
- Experience in the design and construction of major new industrial buildings with multifunctionality – workshops, storage and offices
- Security clearance
- Experience working in the defence sector
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Knowledge of HSE requirements
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary design elements of buildings and ensuring designer technical performance
- Preferred Chartered architect or engineer registered with the appropriate body
- Beneficial to have experience on high hazard facilities in the nuclear sector or hospitals such as X-Ray facilities
- Technical experience in managing facility upgrades or construction projects
