As a Transactional Tax Director, you will take the lead on a variety of complex tax projects, providing strategic transaction tax advice and managing specialist input where required. This role is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a high-performing team while further developing your expertise in transaction tax.

• Lead and manage buy-side and vendor due diligence projects
• Advise on pre-sale structuring and vendor clearances
• Provide buy-side structuring guidance for private equity-backed transactions
• Oversee corporate restructuring, demergers, reorganisations, and management buyouts
• Review and advise on tax implications in Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs)
• Work closely with international firms within the global network to address cross-border tax matters
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the Transaction Tax practice by strengthening client relationships and expanding the firm's network
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering professional development
• Implement processes to enhance risk management and the efficiency of the practice
• Develop and deliver tax technical training sessions for the team

• CTA qualification (ACA or ACCA desirable)
• Significant experience in tax advisory, with expertise in corporate and shareholder taxation, structuring, and transactions
• Strong technical tax knowledge and the ability to manage complex projects under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage clients confidently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to mentor and develop team members
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Commercially aware with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
