Job Title: Building Health & Safety Manager
Salary: 50,369 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Location: Maidstone (Hybrid Working)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full–time Building Health & Safety Manager to join the Police.
This pivotal role will lead and support the force's health and safety strategy, ensuring the safety and compliance of 12 key buildings across Kent.
- Lead health and safety compliance across all construction and building–related projects.
- Provide expert guidance on the application of CDM Regulations 2015.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
- Deliver engaging health and safety training to staff at all levels.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Support project delivery with a focus on safety, quality, and timely execution.
- Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification).
- Membership of IOSH or a similar professional body.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and its practical application.
- Proven experience in construction or civil engineering safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel across Kent and work flexibly.
- Experience delivering projects within strict deadlines.
- Strong customer relationship and networking capabilities.
- Experience working within small, collaborative teams.
