Job summary
A recruitment agency is offering immediate start opportunities for experienced Care Assistants to work weekend shifts at a welcoming care home in Littleover. Responsibilities include supporting residents with age-related conditions and assisting with personal care. Candidates must have a valid moving and handling certificate, an Enhanced DBS, and at least three months of experience in a UK care home. Pay is £13 per hour.
Qualifications
- Must hold a practical moving and handling certificate dated within the past six months.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
- Referenceable work history covering minimum three years.
Responsibilities
- Support residents living with age-related conditions.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily routines.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks.

Weekly paid hours with immediate starts available. We are offering immediate start opportunities for experienced Care Assistants to work weekend shifts at a welcoming care home in Littleover.
- Support residents living with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily routines.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks and report any concerns or updates to senior staff.
- To be eligible, you must hold a practical moving and handling certificate dated within the past six months.
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months, up-to-date mandatory training—including practical moving and handling training dated within the past 6 months—a referenceable work history covering a minimum of three years, and at least three months of previous experience within a UK-based care home setting.
- If you do not currently have a valid DBS or up-to-date training, we offer online training at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.
