Pay: From £13.97 to £16.69 per hour
Shift Pattern: Shifts are 2-1; Tuesdays 17:00-21:00, school holidays 10:00-14:00

As a Community Paediatric Care Assistant, you will provide life-enhancing, person-centred care to children and young people in Paignton. Your compassion and dedication will help young people live safely, with dignity and independence in their own homes.
This is an active young person who enjoys sensory play and thrives in a settled environment. They can become anxious or frustrated if there are unexpected changes, so patience and understanding are important. Following an acquired brain injury, they need support with communication, comprehension, mood and awareness of danger. Care is provided on a 2:1 basis to help them stay safe and socially engaged, with competencies in medication administration and de-escalation required.
