Job summary
A leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in Washington is seeking an experienced HGV Technician. The role involves repairing vehicles, assisting in diagnostics, and servicing customer vehicles. Offering a competitive salary of up to £38,000 along with benefits like a company bonus scheme and generous holiday entitlement. Ideal candidates will hold a Level 3 NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent and have relevant experience.

Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures.
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
- Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required.
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
Skills
HGV Technician Washington
Salary: Up to £38,000 (DOE) with the bonus of up to 10% max.
Shifts: 6.00- 14.30 and 9.30 -18.00 Monday-Friday and 1 Saturday in 4 paid at time and a half.

- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
- Assist with roadside breakdowns.
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
- Up to 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays & increasing with length of service?
- Company bonus scheme - paid quarterly up to a max of 5%
