Overview

Children's Care Assistant needed in Huddersfield - pay starts at £13.00 per hour, interviews ASAP, immediate start. Driver with access to own vehicle needed. Experience working with children with complex needs essential. Right to work in the UK required.

Responsibilities

You’ll provide care for children with complex needs, including medication, PEG feeding, epilepsy care, personal care, meal preparation, companionship, and social support.

Part-time, ad hoc shifts around school hours:

• Weekdays: 7–9am & 4–8pm
• Weekends: block hours available
• Extra hours if also supporting adults

What we offer

• Pay from £13.00–£16.00 per hour (bank holidays £16 p/h)
• Paid mileage between visits (30p per mile)
• One-hour minimum visits – time to build relationships
• Alternate weekends off and rotas given 4 weeks in advance
• 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) and pension scheme
• Fully paid training and support to gain diploma qualifications
