Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager Data Centre to join our team in Ramsgate, United Kingdom. As a key member of our Distribution Business Segment, you will identify new opportunities and generate further business relationships across the Data Centre market in Europe.
Job Responsibility:
Join us during an exciting growth phase and play a crucial role in ensuring the best value for our customers and driving opportunities for Cummins. In this role, you will:
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Collaborate with the engineering design, project management and global business development teams to determine the best value Cummins can offer to suit the requirements of the Data Center customers.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, complying with relevant company and country guidelines and legislations.
Support the overall sales strategy through good communication and coordination across the sales organization.
Mentor to support the development of less experienced sales and account team staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous experience in a business development or sales role with commercial acumen.
Technical background with knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptable approach with outstanding communication and teamwork skills, capable of working on complex projects.
Previous experience within the Data Centre sector is beneficial.

£47,600 - £59,500 (depending on experience)
