Job summary
A growing design consultancy in Belfast is seeking an experienced Design Technician. You will collaborate with an engineering team to produce technical drawings in Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical engineering. This role offers a chance to work on a variety of projects, enhancing your expertise, along with a competitive salary based on experience.
Qualifications
- HNC in Civil Engineering or related subject required.
- Experience on projects in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical sectors.
- Familiarity with design software like Revit, Navisworks, or Civil 3D.

Civil / Structural Technician | Belfast
Vickerstock are delighted to be working with a young, ambitious design consultancy to support in the recruitment of an experienced Design Technician. Founded in 2021 as a specialist water & infrastructure business, this company has undertaken a period of rapid, but sustainable growth, developing their service offering to reflect the needs of their clients. Alongside their core offering they are now able to provide Structural Engineering (both buildings and heavy civils) and Geotechnical Engineering through the appointments of highly experienced, industry experts.
You will work alongside the experienced engineering team to support in the production of highly detailed, technical drawings covering Civil, Structural and Geotechnical engineering schemes.
- A HNC in Civil Engineering, or related construction related subject
- Experience of working on projects within one (or more) of the Civil, Structural or Geotechnical sectors
- Knowledge of specialist software packages such as Revit, Navisworks or Civil 3D
