Quantity Surveyor | Peterborough | Civil Engineering

We are working with a key client that has secured a significant number of framework project wins in the Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire areas. A Quantity Surveyor is required to be engaged on infrastructure projects in the local area. The Quantity Surveyor will be predominantly site based with hybrid working from home, site, and Peterborough offices.

The Opportunity

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of a commercial team, reporting to a Managing Quantity Surveyor. You will be responsible for larger packages of work and work closely with the project team. Our client offers a transparent and efficient career progression process.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Procurement of sub-contractors
• Sub-contractor account management
• Maintaining commercial controls on projects
• Close liaison and collaborative teamwork with the project team and supply chain
• Attending meetings with supply chain and internal teams

Candidate Requirements

• A relevant qualification in the Construction/Civil Engineering industry
• Demonstrable working knowledge as a Quantity Surveyor
• Civil Engineering project experience
