Your Mission

Provide reliable and accurate demand forecasts that support the business needs, customer demand and optimise supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and delivery of relevant reports pertaining to the Demand Planning process.
  • Review Order window accuracy collaborating with Supply Planning.
  • Providing Purchase Plan summary.
  • Review of rolling supply vs demand.
  • Creating and maintaining availability systems
  • Ensuring all products have a valid supply calendar
  • Liaising with International Supply Chain for incomplete sourcing information
  • Stock availability queries and intercompany order processing
  • Seasonal buy meetings.
  • Progress any orders we cannot fulfil
  • Stock adjustments actioned Daily
  • Daily tracking of order received and delivered
  • Creation & Maintenance of Demand planning seasonal working files.
  • Generate and issue Demand plans to Supply planners for purchase placement
  • Establish a seasonal calendar for all Demand task deadlines.
  • Ensure requested risk is authorized within procedural limits.
  • Action the Purchase Plan
  • Placing Purchase Orders and a strong understanding of supply chain and purchase orders
  • Manage negotiation process with International Supply Chain teams.
  • Ensure all Po’s meet the launch plan deadlines.
  • Generate the Biannual (Seasonal) Supply Plan. Data collation, processing and preparation. Cross-functional communication with Sales, Merchandising and Business Operations
  • Assist in completion of the Mid-season Forecast update, cross-functionally with Business Operations and Global Go to Market team
  • Request and collate risk specific Sales feedback pertaining to the demand planning process including digital files and monthly update calls
  • Provide support to cross-departmentally to increase productivity and reduce complexity.
  • Ownership of all major forecasting and budget milestones and processes
  • Responsible for overseeing the customer sell through data upload process.
  • Proactively identify daily business opportunities and shortfalls in forward orders.
  • Presentation support and data provision for Leadership Team and Sales Managers.
  • Align global order windows to Demand files & Sales documentation
  • Identify fulfilment opportunities from internal Free stock pools
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Demand Planning Operations by offering solutions in streamlining processes and reporting infrastructure.

  • Able to manipulate and present data from numerous sources according to end user requirements.
  • Commercially aware with an active interest in Sports and Fashion.
  • Work on improving current processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be numerate, logical, and accurate with excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems, experience with SAP environment a plus but not essential.
  • Knowledge and confidence of Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams, Advanced Excel – VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, power queries, VBA and power BI is preferred.
  • Experience in planning and supplier management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • A good level of planning and organizing skills.
