The role will involve working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse data and deliver insightful solutions to enhance decision making processes and support smooth project delivery.

The role will join one of our Energy sector teams within an Oil & Gas Operator environment, working specifically with control of work and permit to work applications (such as RAP4), and will benefit from an excellent working environment.

Location - Aberdeen, Scotland.

• Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and agree upon reporting and analytics requirements, while providing guidance to the team.
• Demonstrate the ability to dissect complex issues and convert them into actionable deliverables, including solutions and services.
• Conduct gap analysis and ensure all requirements are fulfilled.
• Manage the delivery of low to medium risk projects and ensure business benefits are realised.
• Facilitate service design and gather requirements.
• Review and generate pertinent documentation.
• Analyse data to produce insightful reports that aid in strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs and set objectives.

• Experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrable experience delivering solutions around applications and supporting project managers with delivery of work streams
• Ability to translate business requirements in to use cases (with descriptions, acceptance criteria, functional and on functional requirements)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data driven insights to non- technical audiences
• Ability to present visualisations/reports in a business context to business stakeholders
• Must have HSE applications experience, namely control of work or permit to work systems such RAP4 or Synergi Life.
