Data Analyst – Finance - Oracle PBCS experience essential

Inside IR35 - £500 per day - Stevenage. Must be able to attend site in Stevenage minimum once a week (preferably two or more). Start 22 September - initial six months. Must be British or have Indefinite leave to remain.

Overview

Data Analyst – Finance with Oracle PBCS experience essential. This role requires hands-on data analysis, reporting improvements and close collaboration with IT and Finance teams in a large business environment.

Responsibilities

• Data transformation - support the team to deliver and influence IT teams to enact change in Oracle both short-term and long-term fixes to improve the month-end reporting process.
• Contract reporting - work with IT and Business Intelligence teams to deliver a project to improve existing process through automation and improved visualisation. Deliver the technical elements of the current process in the interim.
• Function reporting - improve quality of the data, maintain reporting and templates and process divisional adjustments.
• PBCS support - support existing PBCS budgeting and forecasting process and identify areas for improvement.
• Other projects - ad-hoc support and identifying improvements.

Qualifications / Skills

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Strong systems experience (Oracle is essential) - Oracle PBCS and Microsoft Fabric also very desirable.
• Visualisation skills (e.g. Power BI).
• Excellent Excel user and familiarity with Power Query.
• Experience delivering data transformation projects within finance teams for a large business.
• Self-starter - keen to improve all processes across FP&A.
