Strategic Pricing Lead

Overview

Reporting to the Director Commercial Development, the Strategic Pricing Lead serves as the primary pricing expert supporting the sales organization. This role manages responses to RFPs and pricing inquiries, and collaborates with global teams to analyze market dynamics and assess new opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the pricing strategies of studies and RFPs using a proprietary pricing model and data-driven decision support tools.
  • Analyze internal and external data to drive new business creation while managing margin targets.
  • Conduct quality reviews of budgetary outputs and associated documents.
  • Empower sales functions by effectively communicating pricing details and meeting client needs.
  • Coordinate across functions to deliver high-quality pricing outputs efficiently.
  • Participate in external client discussions related to pricing.
  • Evaluate programs and benchmarks to recommend pricing structures and ensure adherence to processes.
  • Review and revise optimal pricing guidelines, parameters, and best practices.
  • Analyze pricing activities with Senior Management and recommend improvements to profitability and mix.
  • Track metric-based indicators to drive profitable business growth.
Minimum Education and Experience Required
  • BS degree in Finance, business, science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare, pharma, or CRO industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Commercial aspects of CRO business.
