A leading animal welfare organization is seeking an Operational and Welfare Standards Assistant in London. This part-time position involves reviewing and maintaining guidance documents, supporting team activities, and assisting with audits. Do you want to be part of a team who help to keep the high standards and procedures that help make an impact to dogs lives.
As an Operational and Welfare Standards Assistant you will help to review and maintain guidance and SOP documents for our teams across the organisations and help to ensure timelines and review reminders are actioned.
This role is part time working 17.5 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative and organisation skills, previous experience in administration is advantageous. We are looking for a team player who has previous experience in team support roles, who is self motivated and takes initiative.
The Professional Engagement and Policies team manage relationships with key external professional stakeholders, such as vets, police, and health care workers. They also oversee the development and review of professional standards and standard operating procedures for operations and also provide specialist behaviour input to non-operational teams across Dogs Trust, including public affairs, fundraising and comms.
The Veterinary and Welfare department is responsible for providing clinical support, specialist professional development, engagement with professional stakeholders, and policy and standards for veterinary and behaviour specialist areas as well as standard operational procedures.
