Overview
We are looking for Junior and Senior Attorneys to work in the intellectual property field for our business partner.
Responsibilities
Advise the business on all aspects of intellectual property law, including brand clearance, protection, enforcement, and copyright matters.
Manage IP litigation processes end to end.
Handle trademark prosecution, opposition, and appeal procedures before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TURKPATENT).
Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements such as assignments and licenses.
Prepare internal IP policies and provide strategic input on brand and IP portfolio management.
Support complex legal contracts and cross-functional initiatives involving IP rights.
Identify and handle infringement matters, initiate legal actions when necessary, and follow through on enforcement.
Monitor legal developments and ensure compliance with local and international IP regulations.
Qualifications
Law degree from a reputable university.
2–3 years of experience for junior candidates; at least 4–5 years of experience for senior candidates.
Solid knowledge and experience in trademark prosecution and opposition proceedings before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
Strong litigation experience in intellectual property law is highly preferred.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
