Project description

We have an opportunity for a passionate Backend developer with a strong affinity for big data systems. The role involves playing a key part in a German company's strategic and innovative backend software development team, developing cloud-based security solutions that protect companies and users from cyberattacks and data loss.

The Role

1. Design cutting-edge distributed architectures and develop large-scale cloud-based systems.
2. Think creatively about new technologies, provide innovative solutions to old problems, or identify new problems/opportunities.
3. Create and utilize large-scale infrastructure across multiple regions and data centers.
4. Collaborate effectively with local and remote teams at each stage of the development process.
5. Write clean, maintainable code using industry best practices (DVCS, design patterns, TDD, peer reviews, continuous integration, automated testing).

You

Technologies stack and tools:

• Programming languages: Java, Python, Go, Lua, and possibly some C++.
• Technologies: Kafka, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, various database types, Kibana, Grafana, Ansible, Helm, and more.

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of several programming languages.
• Experience in software development under Linux.
• Proficiency with distributed version control systems.
• Passion for software engineering and writing clean code.
• Enjoy solving complex problems and paying attention to details.

Languages:

• English B2+.
• German – nice to have.
