At paretos, you'll join a cross-functional team to help shape and operate our decision intelligence platform. Our goal: No More Bad Decisions - and your mission is to help bring that to life through smart, fast, and impactful engineering.We're looking for someone who loves to build. You’ll work directly with product managers, AI scientists, and users to iterate quickly on prototypes, deploy real product features, and contribute to a platform that solves tough problems like demand forecasting, planning, or warehouse optimization.

If you’re driven, pragmatic, and thrive when you’re close to the business problem, you’ll feel right at home here.On the mission to help businesses with "No More Bad Decisions," you will be responsible for:

• Turning data-driven prototypes into stable and scalable features or applications


• Working directly with end users and product managers to iterate quickly and build what truly matters


• Building backend services, APIs, and decision-support workflows in collaboration with AI and engineering peers


• Applying best practices in agile software development, including testing, CI/CD, and clean code


• Growing into product and tech ownership over time - we’ll support you, but we want you to be eager to learn and grow

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field


• minimum 1–3 years of professional experience, or equivalent proven projects (e.g., from startup, open source, side projects)


• Proficient in Python and comfortable building APIs or backend components


• Familiar with development workflows (Git, testing, CI/CD, Docker)


• Passion for creating software that solves real-world problems


• Eagerness to learn, build fast, and take ownership


• Fluent in English (German is a plus)


• Bonus: Experience in B2B SaaS, GenAI technologies or work in interdisciplinary teams
