Job summary
A leading tech company is seeking a versatile .NET Developer to enhance enterprise applications while maintaining legacy VB6 systems. The role requires extensive experience in .NET, SQL, SSIS, and SSRS within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include developing applications, optimizing queries, and creating reports to support business needs. Ideal candidates should exhibit strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication in a cross-functional team setting. Hybrid work model with 2 days on-site in Toronto.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of strong experience in .NET development.
- Hands-on experience with VB6 applications.
- Proficient in SQL, including query optimization and stored procedures.
- Experience with SSIS for ETL processes and SSRS for reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET‑based applications and legacy VB6 systems.
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL workflows and data integration.
- Create, optimize, and maintain SSRS reports to support business analytics.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for efficient data access.
- Collaborate with business analysts and QA to gather requirements.
