Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform to streamline business processes, enhance service delivery, and improve overall efficiency within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow Development:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and design solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and integrations to meet business needs.
- Implement and maintain Script Includes, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and data policies to enforce process controls and enhance user experience.
- Create and modify ServiceNow reports and dashboards to provide key insights and metrics to stakeholders.
- ServiceNow Administration:
- Manage user access and permissions, ensuring security best practices are followed.
- Perform routine system maintenance, including applying updates, patches, and configurations as required.
- Monitor and maintain system health, performance, and availability to ensure optimal platform operation.
- Respond to and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests related to the ServiceNow platform.
- Integration and Automation:
- Design and implement integrations with external systems and applications to facilitate data exchange and process automation.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow automation workflows to enhance service delivery and reduce manual tasks.
- Process Improvement:
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements using the ServiceNow platform.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing ServiceNow functionalities to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, system configurations, and user guides.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support to promote effective utilization of the ServiceNow platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform configuration, customization, and administration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, and experience with RESTful APIs for ServiceNow integration.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Contract Management, CMDB, GRC/IRM, Security Operations, Service Portal processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or similar.
