  4. Help maintain EHS compliance records in local and global repositories, including those relevant to Equinix policies, regulatory compliance, and ISO standards.
  5. Serve as a point of contact for internal tools, addressing basic queries and assisting in their optimization for compliance objectives.

Training

  1. Assist in conducting and implementing compliance training to meet organizational and regulatory requirements, while tracking completion rates.
  2. Stay informed about compliance developments affecting the region and assist in implementing necessary changes.
  3. Support the delivery of training for Operations teams on internal tools, policies, and procedures.
  4. Help coordinate with translation vendors to localize policies/procedures and training materials for regional needs.
  5. Pursue continuous education and certifications to enhance EHS expertise and meet role-specific requirements.

  3. Help manage site-level communications, including addressing requests for assistance, questions, incident reports, and reports of non-compliance.
  4. Support incident and compliance investigations by assisting in identifying root causes and ensuring thorough documentation.
  5. Assist in ensuring compliance for new site expansions with regulatory and Equinix requirements.
  6. Help oversee the application and adherence of designated permits and plans (e.g., Air, Spill Prevention, Chemical Reporting) for assigned sites.
  7. Serve as a point of contact between assigned sites and regulatory agencies.
  8. Assist in evaluating workplace changes, processes, equipment, and substances for compliance with Equinix policies, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
  9. Collaborate on process improvement initiatives and compliance projects for assigned sites, working with regional and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

  1. Associate's or bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety (EHS), or a related field, or relevant experience in EHS within a data center environment.
