The salary range for this position is CAD $42.56 - $52.95 per hour.

This role involves providing physiotherapy assessments and treatments to referred clients with various health care needs in community settings; supporting early discharge; developing client care plans; educating clients and caregivers; participating in interdisciplinary teams; and maintaining client records.

1. Provide physiotherapy services including assessment, consultation, and interventions to promote independence and safety.
2. Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to formulate and monitor care plans.
3. Evaluate effectiveness of care and serve as a resource for staff and students.
4. Recommend medical equipment and adaptations; educate on mobility and safety techniques.
5. Assess client situations for delegation of tasks to family or community workers.
6. Act as a resource on physiotherapy techniques and participate in research and quality improvement activities.
7. Maintain knowledge of current physiotherapy practices and participate in staff education.
8. Assist with student placements and supervise as needed.
9. Participate in committees and special projects related to physiotherapy and home health programs.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Graduation from an approved Physiotherapy program, with two years of recent clinical experience in relevant settings, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC, eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Physiotherapy, a valid BC Driver's License, and access to a personal vehicle are required.
