Data Risk Management (DRM) oversees data management activities across TD. We act as trusted advisors and promote a strong risk culture. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Risk Management, the Manager, Data Risk Methodology and Assurance, will serve as a Data Risk expert, assessing data-related regulations across jurisdictions, evaluating impacts on TD's data governance, and managing change in line with the Regulatory Change Standard. The role involves creating interaction models among data teams to align on regulatory expectations, define risk coverage, and assign data risk ownership.

• Developing and maintaining Data Risk Framework, Policy, and Taxonomy aligned with risk requirements across jurisdictions.
• Writing clear policies and processes.
• Assessing risk taxonomy development to match industry trends.
• Documenting policy revisions and updates.
• Evaluating impacts of changes in TD frameworks, policies, and standards on Data Risk Management methodologies.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather feedback and socialize changes, ensuring consistent understanding of data management requirements.
• Leading engagement with DRM on procedural impacts.
• Establishing a methodology change process.
• Serving as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on data risks.
• Staying informed on emerging issues, trends, and regulations affecting TD.
• Socializing revised policies and frameworks.
• Developing data risk processes compliant with TD policies and standards.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders.

• University degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in policy, legal, or technical writing
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Knowledge of data management, governance, and operational risk with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in oversight activities and understanding of 3 Lines of Defense
• Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and negotiation skills
• Ability to build effective relationships across teams
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Proficiency in project management and delivery
