Department Overview

Building a World-Class, Diverse and Inclusive Technology Team at TD

TD Securities, the wholesale trading subsidiary of TD Bank, is seeking a motivated and high-performing individual to become a strong contributor in its dynamic technology organization. This senior Business Systems Analyst will report into the head of the Global Equity Derivatives Solutions group. This is a prominent and complex role that will require interfacing with finance, operations, risk management, front-office, and other technology teams regularly.

Job Overview:

1. TDS FSG Technology team is a critical part of TDS Data Platform & Analytics, GED & FSG, and Prime Services Technology group covering technical planning, integration, systems analysis, design, development, testing, support-maintenance, and more.
2. Our key stakeholders include project managers, front office traders, risk control, accounting, operation teams, and others.
3. Building effective relationships with stakeholders and working collaboratively across teams is essential.
4. Delivering on future projects such as migrating legacy systems to real-time risk and P&L systems using microservices architecture.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Contribute to projects and manage deliverables within the technology and project teams.
• Engage stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements.
• Work with developers to support business expansion and model development.
• Design and support models for trading and revenue generation.
• Maintain knowledge of market innovations and adapt approaches.
• Collaborate with front office to develop tools for trading, risk, and market analysis.
• Ensure thorough testing and training for new releases.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

• Fluent in C#, Java, and/or C++ with experience in multi-service repositories.
• Experience with git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of financial products, derivatives, and market risk terminology.
• Experience with trading and valuation systems or market risk management.
• Understanding of software development cycles and agile methodologies.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to interpret logs and resolve production issues.

Educational Requirements:

• Undergraduate or graduate education in business administration, business analysis, or computer science.
• Industry certifications such as CFA, FRM are preferred.
