The faculty member in this position shares responsibility with the Program Coordinator for the planning and operationalization of the annual Education and Staffing plans for the Psychiatric Nursing department. They are responsible for ensuring staffing requirements are met throughout the year by making decisions for alterations in the annual plan due to leaves or similar circumstances. Additionally, they handle enrollment management processes related to program student admissions, including reviewing admission requirements (in alignment with the Curriculum Coordinator), reviewing individual applicant admissions when required, and managing tracking, progression, exit, and re-entry activities.
This position acts as a primary applicant liaison and, in conjunction with Year Coordinators in the Psychiatric Nursing department, manages student issues and support for enrolled psychiatric nursing students. It is also responsible for the assessment, planning, and co-creation of student-centered engagement activities with other coordinators and faculty.
