We are seeking an experienced Finishing Site Superintendent to oversee the completion of interior finishes on one of our mid‑high‑rise residential project. The successful candidate will assist the Superintendent to ensure the project is completed on time, on budget and to the required quality standards.

• Supervising all finishing activities to ensure high quality and adherence to design drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth execution.
• Overseeing all aspects of interior finishing including scheduling and resource planning to ensure efficient project execution.
• Proactively identify issues, risks and challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
• Review drawings for errors and constructability.
• Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures and safety requirements are being followed.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent to direct and manage project team members.
• Implementing quality control, conducting inspections and addressing defects or issues promptly.
• Overseeing final inspections and the handover of completed works.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finishing Site Supervisor in mid‑high‑rise residential projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Familiar with construction management software and project scheduling tools.

The Finishing Site Superintendent must be client focused, advocate and communicate a positive image of the company, both internally and externally. The Finishing Site Superintendent shall take accountability for decisions made and conduct oneself in a respectful and ethical manner in representing the Trust’s interests. The Finishing Site Superintendent shall demonstrate entrepreneurialism and behave like an “owner” in carrying out daily tasks and responsibilities, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in achieving desired results. The Finishing Site Superintendent is expected to be a team player and work effectively with colleagues and associates in terms of input, sharing of ideas and working to achieve common goal.

The expected base pay range is: $110,000-$120,000. The base pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. SmartCentres values the contribution of our Associates, and our individual salaries may vary based on the geographical location of successful candidates, as well as their experience, qualifications or skills.
