Job Title: General Manager (Mississauga location)

Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Approx. 40-44 hours per week; must have open availability including weekends

• Staffing duties including: recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, disciplining, and firing
• Payroll duties including: confirming written records, correcting punch errors, submitting final timecards
• Cash handling duties including: preparation of tills, change fund maintenance, and preparation of deposits
• Customer interaction and auditing of customer experience
• Ordering and purchasing operational supplies, concessions, and retail merchandise
• Performing operational paperwork duties including safety, accounting and inventory
• Creating schedules and employee communications
• Corresponding with and providing regular reports to corporate office personnel
• Expanding the marketing and promotional presence of K1 Speed
• Maintaining the effective operational feasibility of the center
• Maintaining the highest standard of facility appearance including storage areas and the parking lot
• Coordinate with regional manager to ensure that all facility maintenance is performed quickly
• Ensuring that: cashiers adhere to correct cash handling procedures and sell effectively; track Attendants run races safely, efficiently and professionally; mechanics maintain karts in peak working condition; all staff adhere to company policies and provide outstanding customer service

• Previous General Manager / Site Manager experience preferred
• High school diploma or post-secondary school degree
• 5+ years of experience in a management role
• Experience with Google Apps including Google Docs and Google Drive
• 5+ years of experience in customer service
• Strong leadership: leading a large team, providing exceptional customer service, creating/maintaining a safe and fun work environment
• Strong people management skills; training and development; decision-making in a fast-paced environment
