Job summary
A leading fintech platform in Toronto is seeking a detail-oriented Controller to manage financial operations and team leadership. The ideal candidate has 6-10 years of experience, a CPA designation, and fluency in Mandarin. Responsibilities include overseeing accounting operations, implementing internal controls, and collaborating with various business units to optimize financial performance. This role is pivotal for driving growth and requires strong leadership in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing and mentoring accounting and finance team members.
- Leading all aspects of accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining internal control systems.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Working closely with Product, Risk, and Growth teams.
