The Regional Finance Development Program identifies high potential finance talent, accelerating their professional development and enabling them to be key contributors to Roche's purpose and above all differentiators to patient's lives and become finance leaders. Candidates will take on stretch assignments, participating in pilot projects and challenging roles.

Your Opportunity

The responsibilities for this role include:

  1. Utilize, synthesize, and integrate data to form insights that guide our results and strategies, and help decision-makers understand the landscape we work in and identify additional financial value-adding opportunities.
  2. Provide analytics and insights, resource allocation models, and financial modeling tools. Enable stakeholders to focus on their key activities while identifying opportunities to provide the best experience to them.
  3. Ensure that technological advances are integrated into insights generation processes. Scale expertise for future efforts, and constantly streamline and/or upgrade processes.
  4. Establish and maintain robust financial reporting systems, processes, and financial controls to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial statements and information.
  5. Establish and maintain strong partnerships with internal Finance colleagues as well as business partners as required.
  6. May lead planning activities and balance planning simplifications with robust, fit-for-purpose information.
  7. May lead or support financial closing activities. Understands and lives the Finance Framework, mindset, and behaviors.

Shows strong leadership potential and has the ambition to take on a leadership position in finance in the future. Has an entrepreneurial spirit and fosters a culture of business innovation.

  1. Have a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance, industrial engineering, accounting or related degree, CFA / MBA preferred.
  2. Between 3 to 5 years of work experience in financial areas and strong general finance knowledge, with exposure to projects related to innovation in digital or advanced analytics technologies.
  3. Advance English level is necessary; a willingness to learn other languages would be an asset.
  4. Regional mobility is required during and after the program. (In this position, you will start in the country you are currently located, and then need to be able to rotate locations during a two-year time period).
  5. Be passionate about driving adoption of new technologies, including AI, machine learning and RPA to provide financial transparency, drive productivity and derive insights.
  6. Have exceptional structured problem-solving and strategic analytical and agility skills.
  7. Ability to simplify complex information into clear, synthesized insights as basis for decision making at all levels of the organization.

Timeline & Selection Process

We will accept your application until May 1st, 2025.

Once we have reviewed your application, we will invite you to a video assessment. (You can answer our questions at a time and place convenient to you, and of course, you’ll have time to practice).

If you succeed to move forward, you will be invited to a virtual panel interview where you’ll meet some finance professionals and leaders at Roche.

The finalists will be invited to participate in a virtual Assessment Center.

We’re looking forward to having you on board and starting the program in September 2025 or as per agreement.
