Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the commercial management of construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage project budgets, lead contract negotiations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. With a degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of experience, this role demands strong negotiation skills and proficiency in commercial management software. Qualifications
- MRICS, MCIOB, or similar professional qualification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial management experience in the construction industry.
- Proven track record in managing commercial aspects of major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of contract.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and legal frameworks (e.g., UAE, GCC if relevant).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the commercial and contractual management of construction projects.
- Prepare, manage, and track project budgets and forecasts.
- Lead negotiation of contracts and procurement strategies.
- Ensure accurate valuation of completed works and manage variations.
- Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments to maximize profitability.
