To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.
- Support the overall, daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as needed.
- Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
- Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure shipments meet or exceed operational KPIs.
- Monitor performance, coach staff, and collaborate with supporting departments to improve logistics processes.
- Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and enhance quality.
- Interview candidates for associate roles.
- Manage workload and monitor administrative tasks, workflows, and daily metrics.
- Assist with training and mentoring new associates.
- Follow-up on and resolve process-related issues.
- Perform physical activities such as pushing carts (up to 100 pounds) and lifting packages (up to 15 kg).
- Work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
- Sufficiently resource the department through training, absence management, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
- Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
