Senior Geochemist - Petroleum Systems & Data Integration
Job summary
A leading international service company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Geochemist for a 3-month project. The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience and a strong background in coordinating geochemical studies. Responsibilities include conducting QA/QC on data, mentoring junior staff, and preparing technical reports. Preferred qualifications include an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Geochemistry, and previous experience in Abu Dhabi is necessary.
Qualifications
- 20 years of experience in geochemistry.
- Previous experience working in Abu Dhabi.
- Advanced knowledge in geochemistry tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct geochemical studies.
- Prepare, verify and update all geochemical studies.
- QA/QC of all data.
- Integrate new data for exploration assessments.
- Mentor junior staff.
- Prepare technical reports.
