Day- to-day operations:
To check material availability on daily basis and material supply to be arranged based on the priority.
To operate, and provide the required materials with the concerned department.
To verify material certificates, maintain material traceability records and material tracking sheets.
Update the material traceability records in Mariner on daily basis.
To maintain records of daily material cutting activities.
To report material status to Supervision on daily basis.
Highlight material issues to Supervisor, Department Manager and Project Manager.
To ensure excess material will be returned to Stores on weekly basis and maintain Mariner records.
Develop and implement new systems to improve the safety and quality statistic within the department.
Education/Skills/Qualifications:
High School Certificate or equivalent/Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent
Experience in NB yard and communication skills.
MS office and ERP application /Clerical skill, Offshore / Oil & Gas.
Minimum 5 years general clerical experience and working knowledge in material traceability tasks in New Building Shipyard or Offshore industry/3 years of experience in new building, Oil and Gas or ship building industry.
Basic knowledge of different kind of materials and grades.
Capability to operate maintains and controls the tools and materials.
Basic knowledge about Cutting Machine activities.
Proficiency use of MS Office applications with good typing skills and ERP application
