What You Will Do :

1. Set team objectives and monitor their progress.
2. Communicate and work with other members of the company to achieve the objectives.
3. Accompany and assess staff in the field periodically to ensure objectives are met and to identify training needs. The frequency of these field days is to be agreed with your line manager.
4. Recognize and reward good individual and team performance.
5. Observe the company rules for grievance and disciplinary matters.
6. Hold regular meetings to brief your sales team and promote teamwork.
7. Deal effectively and speedily with customer complaints and account issues.
8. Actively assist the sales team, giving technical support and encouraging technicians to identify and submit leads.
9. Demonstrated ability to train, coach, motivate and supervise district personnel to full potential.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. BS / BA degree in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology, or related field.
2. 15+ years of experience in B2B Sales including field sales experience in food, beverage or dairy processing/manufacturing industries.
3. Functional computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems).
4. Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
5. People management and P&L management experience is a must.
6. Experience in large account management.
7. Ability to convert a technical need into a commercial solution.
8. Understanding of technological processes and F&B Sector knowledge.
9. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
10. Desire to succeed in a competitive environment.
11. Ability to take initiative, work independently and prioritize multiple projects with strong follow-through and organizational skills.
