As a Sales Manager - Cars, you will be responsible for building and executing the sales strategy required to grow and maximise revenue growth for the Sales Cars vertical.You will be comfortable working independently, continually approaching prospective clients and generating new sales.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of prospective clients;
  • Mentor and train employees to consistently demonstrate a full understanding of our market and business position;
  • Identify key talent within the team by using effective coaching, conducting one-on-one meetings, and performing performance reviews.
  • Discuss progression areas with key talent on their development areas and help drive their growth path;
  • Manage performance and results within the team and ensure delivery of budget commitments;
  • Play an active role in developing recruits to the sales team so that they can consistently demonstrate agreed sales processes, product knowledge and company values;
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of product quality, transparent reporting and outstanding customer service;
  • Analyse the competitive sales environment and ensure that our proposals remain attractive;
  • Create a positive sales culture that promotes healthy competition within the team;
  • Set individual (and, when required, team targets) in line with company revenue aspirations and be relentless in meeting the objectives;
  • Be the client’s point of contact for both business and technical enquiries;
  • Execute cold-calling and tele-prospecting activities to maximise selling opportunities;
  • Collaborate closely with Cars Product Managers and Marketing Manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • 5+ years of sales experience;
  • 1-2 years of experience in managing a team.
  • Experience in classifieds or the motors industry is desirable;
  • Experience within the classifieds industry and/or UAE Motors trade.
  • Proven track record of achieving success whilst working in a targeted and high-pressure environment;
  • Working understanding of sales processes, including questioning techniques, objection handling and closing methods;
  • Working knowledge of dubizzle.com.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to prioritise work requirements;
  • Ability to influence others internally and externally;
  • An ability to deliver strong sales results while also being able to step back and take a strategic view;
  • A natural desire to succeed;
  • Must display resilience and a focus on continuous improvement;
  • Highly motivated, professional, creative, proactive and able to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group;
  • Enthusiastic, performance-driven self-starter and team player;
  • Flexible to new challenges and comfortable working in a consistently challenging environment.
  • Able to engage at all levels within an organisation.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple accounts at one time.
  • You are a team player with good communication skills and commitment to success through teamwork whilst achieving personal targets and objectives.
