Job Summary

KN International is seeking a skilled and strategic Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and contractual aspects of our construction and consultancy projects. The role involves overseeing project finances managing contracts and risks and ensuring all projects deliver strong commercial performance while maintaining compliance with client requirements and company objectives.

The Commercial Manager will play a critical role in contract negotiation cost recovery claims management and stakeholder coordination across multiple active projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Management & Strategy
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies for projects to optimize financial performance.
  • Ensure alignment of commercial objectives with contractual obligations and company goals.
  • Monitor project KPIs profitability and costeffectiveness.
  • Advise on project procurement strategies and commercial risk mitigation.
2. Contract Management
  • Review and negotiate contracts subcontracts and consultancy agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with FIDIC and local contract standards.
  • Manage contract administration including claims variations and extensions of time (EOT).
  • Coordinate with legal advisors on dispute resolution and contractual issues.
3. Cost & Budget Oversight
  • Work closely with cost managers and quantity surveyors to monitor budgets and control project costs.
  • Review contractor payment applications interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Support project teams in cost forecasting cash flow management and reporting.
