Role Overview

We’re looking for a Solution Architect – Mission Planning for Autonomous Ground Vehicles to lead the design and development of a scalable mission planning platform supporting autonomous ground and aerial vehicles. You’ll enable operators to plan, monitor, and manage missions across defense (on-premises) and civil / logistics (cloud-based) environments, directly impacting the deployment and operational efficiency of advanced robotic systems.

What You’ll Do

• Define the end-to-end solution architecture for mission planning systems, supporting real-time coordination and monitoring of autonomous platforms.
• Design modular services for mission orchestration, telemetry processing, map-based UI integrations, and operator control workflows.
• On-premises systems for defense and secured environments.
• Cloud-native deployments for logistics, commercial, and civil applications.
• Implement real-time communication pipelines using protocols like MQTT, WebSocket, and REST to ensure reliable data exchange.
• Define robust data flows between robotic clients, mission servers, and front-end systems, maintaining performance and reliability even in constrained network conditions.
• Ensure comprehensive system security, including user authentication, role-based access control, encryption, and audit trails.
• Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver consistent, scalable deployments and maintain CI / CD pipelines.
• Document system designs, interface definitions, and architectural decisions to ensure alignment across engineering teams and enable future scaling.
